Emerging Canadian artist, Dayna Wagner, originates from the rural community of Kincardine, Ontario. She studied mechanical engineering in Toronto, working in Windsor following graduation. After four years in the field, Dayna began to follow her creative instinct and worked for a retail company, eventually becoming their Visual Director. During this time she studied several different medium. A few courses in clay led Dayna to her love of pottery. She took a leave of absence to study clay full time at the Halliburton School of the Arts. Working alongside clay artist such as Les Manning inspired Dayna to follow her dreams of becoming a full time studio potter.
